Inserts, Sends, Ins, Outs - what are we talking about?

Students of the Recording Arts program are currently in the part of the course that deals with learning the vast world of audio routing, and signal processing.  Using the school's Allen and Heath GL2400 mixing console, students practice inserting effects, routing aux sends/returns, and using their already deep knowledge of EQ to play into the mix.  No longer does this mysterious machine look like a spaceship, but an organized audio reinforcement device that any of the students can now use with confidence!
