Some of the TV students have been introduced to Avid Media Composer over the last couple of weeks.  They have edited a PSA to help save the rainforest, a promo for Canyon Lands Outdoor Adventure School and are now moving on to news packages.

For the news packages they have the real footage and scripts that came from one of the local stations so they are getting some practical experience working with the same tools that those at the station would get.   You can't get any closer to the real thing than that!
